Product Description

Paper, 155 pp.

The Made Easy Series books are designed to "provide substantial studies on significant issues in a succinct and accessible format from an evangelical and Reformed perspective." Our new book Postmillennialism Made Easy does just that. It is an excellent resource for personal Bible study, Sunday school classes, neighborhood Bible studies, or simply to hand out to friends who are interested in eschatology.

The average Bible-believing Christian today believes that we are living in the shadow of the Second Coming. Consequently, they hold no long-range view of the future because they expect the Rapture to snatch them out of the world at any minute.

Postmillennialism, however, offers Christians an exciting hope-filled view of the future that encourages long-term planning and diligent labor for the glory of God. Postmillennialists believes that "the gospel is the power of God unto salvation" (Rom 1:16) and that "the earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof" (Psa 24:1).

Thus, postmillennialists are committed to the world-conquering task that the Lord Jesus Christ gave his Church just before ascending to the right of God in heaven: "Go, make disciples of all the nations" (Matt 28:19). They are confident in Christ's promise: "If I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men to Myself" (John 12:32).

On the basis of these and many other Scripture passages, postmillennialism offers an optimistic outlook on the future, urging Christians to believe that "your labor is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Cor 15:58).

In this Made Easy Series book you will find a clear and succinct presentation of postmillennialism. You may also find your Christian life changed as you study the case for postmillennialism from creation through redemption to consummation.

EVERYTHING ABOUT MY PURCHASE AND PRODUCT IS HIGH QUALITY AND I'M VERY SATISFIED.

  2. Excellent Overview & Intro Postmillennialism 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Apr 2024

My wife and I first heard Dr. Gentry at the 1999 Ligonier national conference on eschatology. (We were very pleased to meet him; he signed our copy of House Divided, "Ken Gentry Gen 1 - Rev 22.") We recently delved back into eschatology, and this book has given us a great overview of millennial views and a strong foundation for understanding the postmillennial hope--a message we are now realizing is vital to the health of the Church in our day.

  3. Very helpful introduction 4 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Nov 2023

As a former pre-millennialist, I was impressed with Dr. Gentry's ability to touch on virtually every difficulty I faced as I moved toward an eschatology of hope. There are a significant number of typos that need addressing.

  4. Great book 5 Star Review

Gentry gives an easy explanation of the Postmillennial view. I would challenge everyone to read this.

  5. Basically an introduction. 4 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Oct 2015

I would definitely recommend this book to someone as an introduction to postmil eschatology. Very basic, and to the point.

  6. It all makes perfect sense. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Dec 2014

I was apprehensive at first reading this book and kept my guard up, but as I progressed through the arguments, I realized these things weren't meant to be complicated. My appreciation to Dr. Gentry for all the study hours involved and for writing these books "made easy" for persons that get lost in all the prophetic end times charts.
I love reading and studying the Bible more than ever now that the book of Revelation has been opened to my understanding as well as the Olivet Discourse.

  7. a clear explanation of eschatology 5 Star Review

For those brought up in dispensational pre-mil, this book will greatly help in one's search for the truth of scripture. Thanks for the easy to understand approach.

  8. Honest and accurate 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Sep 2013

Gentry gives a wonderful presentation for what Postmillennialism truly is, he removes the straw man that is so often used against postmill and replaces it with the biblically accurate, theologically sound presentation. He single handedly destroys dispensationalism and in the process eliminates premillennialism while carefully noting the differences between amil and postmill. Going into this I was curious, coming out the other end of reading it I am thoroughly convinced. I have held all views before this one and they all seemed off to me. Postmill gives an honest, accurate, responsible and thorough reading of Scripture.

  9. Nuggets to chew on 5 Star Review

Posted by on 24th Sep 2013

If you're curious as to what Postmillenialism teaches, then this book is for you! It's not too high in the clouds where you won't be able to understand it but also scholarly enough where it'll give you nuggets to really chew on for thought. Loved it & helped me to more fully embrace this optimistic, biblical eschatology :-) God bless!
