In this professionally-produced, four-lecture series, Dr. Gentry engages a hotly-debated issue within the Christian church: the question of the Christian and alcoholic beverages.
An ideal means for introducing the biblical concept to Christians with questions regarding alcohol consumption. These four lectures cover all the essential Bible verses and logical arguments defending a Christian’s right to partake of alcohol. Each lecture is between 20-25 minutes in length. This is perfect for use in a Sunday school program, or any personal or small group Bible study.

I enjoyed Dr. Gentry's book by the same title some years ago. This video (and his books) are excellent Bible-based studies, using Scriptural & other factual sources, that take the reader/viewer or student to all the pertinent arguments for & against the use of wine in the Bible. Conclusion: God intended wine & other "strong drink" -- in moderation -- to be a blessing to his people. This is an excellent study!

I would like to start off by thanking you for
your videos and books you have made available to the modern day Christian. You
have made learning the depths of the Bible very fun, exciting, and easy. I
recently finished watching your DVD, "God Gave Wine." After watching the DVD I thought you made it very clear and concise about the topic and supported everything with overwhelming
evidence.
