Three Christmas messages given in 2014. These messages look into Matthew's genealogy of Jesus and find its significant eschatological implications. Helpful not only for understanding and appreciating Jesus' genealogy itself, but for understanding the birth of Jesus and his expected impact on God's eschatological program.

1. Jesus and Messianic Deliverance
2. Jesus and God's People
3. Jesus and the New Creation

The first message shows the victory expectations of Christ's coming to be a king and deliverer. The second message shows the expansion of God's people in the new covenant to include Gentiles in the "Israel of God." The third message presents Christ as the new creation who remakes us into new creations.
