Is it possible to know Jesus as Savior and not as Lord? That is the central issue in this book, and it has immense implications. This book was written out of a concern over deficient gospel preaching, false conversions, and faulty assurance of salvation. This is a succinct reformed defense of "Lordship salvation" against easy-believism.

Great little book for getting into the Lordship debate. This book dives quickly over what the two positions are and quickly covers the main areas of the debate. Really enjoyed the book as a starting point, but my only complaint is there was no recommend book list to go further into the debate. However Dr. Gentry does provide notes at the end of each chapter which does provide other sources if one is looking to find other extensive sources.
